Roomorama.com is a website that aims to make easy and safe for travelers to book short term accommodations from owners and property managers, worldwide. We are a fast-growing NY based company with an office in Singapore as well.

Position
Roomorama is looking for a talented UI designer to join our young and dynamic team in Singapore.

Job Description

• Be involved in all aspect of the Roomorama website front-end design, from conceptualization to implementation of the elements
• Identify and resolve in a timely manner design issues occurring across all supported browsers
• Be proactive in identifying problems and areas of improvement as well as coming up with effective / visually appealing solutions

Requirements
You are passionate about making the user's interaction as simple and efficient as possible and have a talent in building clean and aesthetically pleasing pages.

Ideally you have 3+ years experience in conducting user interface design and usability testing.

You are able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

You must be proficient with the following technologies:

• HTML5
• Javascript (jQuery)
• CSS3
• Photoshop/Illustrator
• Good knowledge of Web usability standard

Plusses

• Basic Ruby on Rails knowledge
• Git
• You are a typography freak
• Proven experience in designing iPhone/iPad applications
