Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for a young, creative visual talent with multidisciplinary interests and a strong passion for architecture, design, and storytelling.
This role is centered on crafting compelling video content and visual narratives that bring our architectural and design projects to life.

We are looking for someone with a sharp visual eye, fluent in video production and editing, and comfortable navigating both 2D and 3D tools.
In addition to strong video and visual production skills, the ideal candidate will bring either:

1. proven experience in rendering and graphic production, or
2. motivation to grow into a communication officer role, bridging visual storytelling with external communication activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for project presentations, concept films, and social media platforms
• Design and animate visual and motion graphics to support narrative and conceptual clarity
• Integrate 3D architectural models (Rhino, 3ds Max) into motion sequences
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and other creatives
• Work proficiently with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Apply sound design, VFX, and color grading for professional-quality outputs
• (If rendering-oriented) Support rendering workflows and graphical visualization of architectural projects
• (If communication-oriented) Support communication strategies, media content curation, and dissemination of projects across digital platforms

What We’re Looking For

• Academic or professional background in architecture, design, communication, or related fields
• Proven experience in video editing and visual/motion graphics
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Familiarity with 3D modeling/rendering tools (Rhino, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar) or strong motivation to develop as a communication officer
• Strong visual storytelling skills and a keen design sensibility
• A proactive, independent mindset with curiosity and attention to detail
