The brand takes its name from the legendary bird from the island of Mauritius, an evocative symbol of an extinction that might have been avoided had humans shown greater respect for nature. Dodo was the first luxury brand to offer composable, high-end jewellery to a broad unisex audience by bringing together playful aesthetics and a personal message. The House combines sustainably sourced precious metals, gold, silver, diamonds and colored gemstones with high-end artisanal know-how and the creativity of Italian design. A DoDo piece is more than a simple jewel. Every charm tells a story that conveys a personal meaning or celebrates love, luck, freedom, or friendship. These “talking charms” carry strong emotional and sentimental significance for the person who wears them. Their anti-conformist style and upbeat philosophy appeal to all generations from Millennials to Baby-Boomers.

Our Mission

We are looking for a DoDo Marketing Director to be part of our dynamic team based in Milan. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's image and driving its growth. You will be responsible for leading the PR, Trade Marketing, and Product Marketing strategies for Dodo. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting compelling campaigns, fostering brand awareness, and maintaining the brand's distinct identity within the luxury jewelry market.

Your Opportunity

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Dodo's brand vision and business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach across PR, trade marketing, and product marketing
  • Brand Development: Oversee the development and maintenance of the Dodo brand identity, ensuring it remains consistent and captivating to the target audience
  • Public Relations: Lead the PR efforts by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with media, influencers, and partners. Develop PR campaigns that generate positive media coverage and enhance brand visibility
  • Trade Marketing: Create and implement trade marketing initiatives to support Dodo's presence in retail stores and e-commerce platforms. Collaborate closely with retail partners to drive sales and strengthen brand presence
  • Media and E-Commerce: Keep developing the social media and e-commerce channel from a branding perspective to ensure maximum client engagement
  • Product Marketing: Drive product marketing efforts, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment with market trends and customer demands
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals and a strong return on investment
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and threats, adapting marketing strategies accordingly
  • Reporting and Analytics: Establish KPIs and performance metrics for marketing initiatives. Regularly report on campaign effectiveness and use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the luxury fashion or jewelry industry
  • Strong understanding of the luxury market, consumer behavior, and trends
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a data-driven approach
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
